Interview With Clan Quest's Original Quest Kitty
May 2013 002.jpg
~ by LizBeth ~

Quest Kitty, yes, the name that is almost tantamount to Clan Quest. Those of you who have been around since this clan started endearingly know her well. Some may just be familiar with her RS name and the newer ones might ask, "Who?" To quote Draz, "There is one person, however, who should be acknowledged for a significant amount of Clan Quest’s success during its first few months … Quest Kitty. Her activity, personality and sheer “awesomeness” is a testament to what all clan questers aspire towards. I would say she has had the largest impact on Clan Quest of any other non-High Councilor since the clan’s founding."

Let's find out more about our legendary Quest Kitty. Just to let you know, she no longer plays RuneScape, but is still a significant member of this clan.

Andrew Cinqo

What is your opinion of food?
I don't eat much, I've just recently started trying to eat seafood, but I mainly eat pasta. I've also discovered the awesome combination of white rice and soy sauce. Unless the soy sauce is 2 years expired ... then it becomes a slight problem. I knew something tasted odd.

What is the meaning of life?
A wise ... Draz? Noob? Man? Would he even be considered a man? Does he even still exist, or is he just in my mind? A wise ... whatever once told me that the meaning of life has and always will be, plastic bags. And I have learned that this phenomenon is true. The world has made humans to make plastic bags.

Who are you?
As far as I know, I am me. As far as anyone knows, I am a person. But the truth is, I was never here to begin with, you're all just insane, and this interview is something that Beth has made up in her mind to fool you all into thinking that I still actually exist.

Who am I?
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for answers, I can tell you I don't have answers. But what I do have are a very particular set of skits; skits I have acquired over a very long career. Skits that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let me answer more questions now, that'll be the end of it. I will not poke you, I will not bother you. But if you don't, I will poke you, I will bother you, and I will hug you.

Will you answer this question?
No.

Did you know High School of The Dead is coming off Hiatus?
I'm sorry ... is it a sad thing that I have absolutely no clue what Hiatus means, which pretty much destroys the whole question? If by High School of the Dead you mean the anime, I was never actually a fan of it. I watched it, but I somehow put like a mental block on it where I can't recall any events within that anime. Shame, I know it was better then Kiss x Sis. I know who I have to blame for that ... Karen ...

Ytse

Kitty...
WHY YOU NO PLAY RS ANYMORE >:I

Because I took a break from it, it had huge changes, I say "Who are you people?!" whenever I was in the chat, and I was just mainly bored in general. I mainly watch anime now and focus on school and life in general, don't play much games anymore.

What made you start in the first place?
One of my actual friends asked me to play at one point in middle school. I figured why not, he helped me get through the rough points in my starter years.

I know you like anime and stuff, what would be a good one to watch/read for someone who doesn't usually like it?
Ahhhh, so many to pick from ... I would say it depends on your preference on genre. If you like mystery/horror, watch Higurashi, or Another. If you like magical girls, watch Madoka Magica (Awesome anime by the way) even though it's much different from other magical girl animes. If you want to cry, watch Clannad. If you want romance without the ecchi or fanservice, watch Clannad, EF: Tale of (memories/ melodies) or Shakugan No Shana (LOVE this anime) I would list the whole bunch of anime I've watched and like ... but for the sake of time I'd rather not.

Miss Alaska

I'm one of the newish members who only knew you from the offsite. How did your life as a Clan Questie begin?
I honestly don't remember. I think I was searching through forums as normal, I always prowled around the questing forum. I saw a post saying go to this thread for a questing clan or something like that, I looked at it, decided to join, and here I am. I remember my first friend, who no longer is a member, was someone with the RSN of Speedy, I also remember Hemsky, but I didn't like him at first. But he turned out to be an awesome guy. But now he went to college, so now his life is more important, booooooo! Speedy just disappeared off the face of the earth for me. Who knows what happened to her.

What's the most memorable part of RuneScape for you?
I really have to think about this one, mainly because I can't remember anything, and also because it's hard for me to pick from the things that I do remember. So I guess the things that I do remember are worth mentioning, since I guess they were worth remembering. I remember beating WGS to finally get my Quest cape, and also having a huge difficulty beating Nomad to regain my cape. I remember my painful grinds for 99 FM and WC ... I remember leaving Clan quest to make my own clan, which ended in failure, so I came back to this clan. I really can't remember much, but I know there should be more memorable things somewhere in my shut down mind.

What country do you live in?
United states, I plan on traveling to different areas, outside or inside the country, but I plan to make my permanent living home in or around the area that I am in now.

Where would you most like to travel in the world? Or if you don't want to travel, why not?
I would like to travel, as mentioned in the previous question. I've been planning to go somewhere in my senior year in high school as a trip. My brother is offering me to take me to Japan, as well. I'll just have to see what happens.

Kyratian

I know you watch anime, what's the most interesting anime you've ever watched, and explain it?
Interesting ... that can be in the form of good and bad. The most interesting anime I've watched is maybe ... Higurashi? Why must I choose? They're all so good. I'll just list the ones I think were interesting. Higurashi, Future diary, EF, Madoka magica ... I'll leave it at that for now. As for the explanation... Higurashi is one of my favorites because of a few reasons. It's a mystery, it always keeps you trying to figure out what is going on. Why did this person do that? Why did this person kill that person? Ect, ect. It has multiple story arcs, each arc revealing something new about what is going on. Without spoiling it, the first season is mainly story arcs to make you say "wtf?" And a little bit of "Ohhhh, I see" and then the second season comes around and tells you what is going on. Future diary, I don't know why I picked this. I just find the life or death contest interesting. A 15-year-old kid gets a phone diary that tells the future around him, and he has to fight the other 11 "future diary" holders. The winner becomes a God. Simple yet a great anime, as well. EF ... There's not much to say about it without spoiling anything. I'll just leave it as I've cried multiple times watching it. It was really touching. Madoka magica... like I've said before, it branches off from the magical girl genre. At first it was really girly. I'm sure some guys stopped watching it because it was all pink and cute. Then the plot twist happens.

You are a Kitty who likes quests, what quests does this Kitty do in RL?
Nothing much at all. Just basic milestones, like get passed HS, get a job, watch anime, ect ect. Nothing special.

What's the most interesting game you played besides RS?
Online? Maybe Perfect world. On Xbox? I think my most time has been spent playing the fable series.

Wolfie

When I first friended you on fb I noticed you had some likes for the amazing horror author Darren Shan, so I have to ask which of his series do you like the best so far, Cirque Du Freak (vampires for the non-Shan readers), The Demonata (Demons and werewolves), or Zom-B (zombies)?
I'm sad to say, but I never read the Zom-B series. I read the Demonata and Cirque though. I kinda have to say, I like Demonata better. Not saying that Cirque was horrible though. That was awesome as well.

I notice you are a fan of The Hunger Games books, which of the three is your favorite? Also Have you read the author's previous series Gregor the Overlander? (Really pretty epic, I liked it better than The Hunger Games).
I have not read any other series, but the first hunger games book was the best in my opinion. The other books just seemed rushed trying to get through the story, and Katniss was painfully useless in my opinion later on.

And I know you love anime so I have to ask, which Anime is your favorite? (I know it is like picking a favorite child but for me it has to be either Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, SAO, Fate/Stay Night, or S1 of Deathnote).
Bahhhhhhhh ... not fair how you can pick more then one and I can only pick one. I have an anime list with ratings and stuff ... I only have 4 listed as a 10/10. Those 4 are: Clannad, Angel beats, Shakugan no Shana, and EF.

Lastly, who would you say your favorite anime character is? (For me it has to be Saber from Fate/Stay Night).
Yuno Gasai from Future diary. Now I just need to wait to be beaten on by people who watched that anime.

Extra questions because I'm bored:
For those of us who don't know, what is a vocaloid?

*To the best of my knowledge and wiki* A vocaloid is a singing voice synthesizer of which can be sold. There are many forms, each vocaloid has their own name (Hatsune Miku, Magurine Luka, ect) and their own person that gave them the voice in the first place. Now in fear in getting something wrong and getting beat for it, I'll stop there.

Which one is your favorite?
I would have to say Megurine Luka

What is your favorite vocaloid song?
Luka Luka Night Fever!

What is your favorite non-vocaloid song?
This doesn't have to be language restricted right? If I had to pick, I would say maybe.... Joint by Kotoko (First opening of the second season of Shakugan no Shana I believe).

Karen

If you had a friend who spoke to you in the same way that you sometimes speak to yourself, how long would you allow that person to be your friend?
If I speak to myself, wouldn't that mean I'm insane? Which also means that I'm my only friend? In that case, I wouldn't want to lose my best and only friend.

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
Age is only a number, which is used to count down your life. Without that number to count down your life, you don't set limitations for yourself. So I would be an unknown age.

If you had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?
I would be the last person you would want to take advice from, since I probably wouldn't even follow my own advice, if I gave good advice anyway. But I guess I would say something along the lines of I heard awhile ago ... Hope, I didn't butcher this quote - "Moving water is just that. Without that movement, that water just becomes a swamp"

If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
I'm sure that this question was meant to be a much deeper question, but I'm only going to let that scratch. I've wanted to be a math teacher growing up. Now That's the last thing I want.

Cireon

Do you feel still connected to Clan Quest? Why (not)?
Yes and no. I'm not an active member in it, therefore, I have no say in what goes on, and I have have no idea what happens anymore. I don't know many others in the clan. The little connection that I have with the clan are the people I still know.

MsKonnan10

You always came to play BA when ever anyone asked. You taught people, and took me into the group and helped me learn the roles of that mini game. What made you so enthusiastic?
I just wanted to shortcut my way to 99 FM while having fun And you offered to join.

When your own clan didn't get rolling as well as expected, you came back to us. Was it as much fun?
No, not at all.

If you notice the changes in the clan now, what do you think? Have you any comments or advice for us?
I really don't know what goes on any more, so I have no right to comment on what is good or bad. Everyone has their own opinion of the clan. For myself, I liked the older clan better, not as much people. Some people like that. It depends on the person. The clan has been around for years now. It must be doing something right.

How is life treating you, Kitty? What are your goals now?
Fine, fine, I don't have many goals besides the general get out of high school, as mentioned before.

Boricua

Hey Kitty. How you been?
Next question! Just kidding, blowing you off isn't a nice thing, but still such a vague repeated question.

Will you ever share your o-so-speshul cookie recipes with us?
No.

Would you make some for me for old times sake?
No.

You haven't vented in a while either, any problems you feel like gettin off your chest?
No.

Any happy things?
No.

Favourite Movie? TV Show? Dream Vacation?
Movie.... maybe Spirited away... Yeah I don't see a lot of movies. For TV show... does Anime count? If so, look at other questions. If not, the Walking dead.

Finally, so I know you like anime... so what's your favorite song nowadays?
Luka Luka Night Fever

Viced

Why did you leave me? :'c
Because I can.

What's "outside" like?
Who says that I would know? I still have yet to find out.

What was your first 99 on rs?
Woodcutting.

What did you want your first 99 to be if it wasn't the skill you got it in?
Fishing.

How tall are you?
5'5"

LizBeth

Hello Kitty, how’s life been treating you lately?
Oh fine... Just two hours of being distracted by Karen and answering questions...

WHAT??! I need your undivided attention, so focus on here and not Karen. Karen, dahlin', I'm sorry, but I have to steal Kitty from you for a bit. 24- herz.png
Moving right along...so you’re a graduating senior in high school next year, are you excited?
Yep!

What are you planning to major in college and why?
I plan to go into law enforcement.

Still waiting for the "why" answer. *10 hours later * okay, never mind.

I know it’s still early to ask the university/college you’re interested to go to, but is there a particular one that you have in mind? New York alone has a number of excellent city and state universities.
I just plan to go to a local college, but giving the name would give an idea of where I live so...

When did you get interested in anime? I must agree that they are awesome animations. I myself like them still. You should make it a point to travel to Japan, any plans?
Yep, my brother plans on taking me to Japan, I'll just need to pay for myself somehow.

What is your favorite color?
Green.

Any favorite sport or team?
Nope.

Do you play any musical instrument?
Sometimes Guitar ... but puts me to sleep when I play it.

Kitty, are you driving regularly now? Have you tried driving in NYC? If you haven't you should, it would give you an experience of a lifetime ... besides a nervous breakdown. If you have been doing so, how does it feel competing with the cab drivers on the road?
I drive to school, thats pretty much it as of right now.

What's your dream car?
I can't even name a car, let alone have a dream car.

Other than watching anime, how do you spend your free time?
Youtube and homework.

How many pets do you have now and what are they?
Four: two cats and two ferrets.

What's your all time favorite song(s) other than the ones made by vocaloids?
That last part hurt me ... I guess, Joint, as mentioned before. For an English song.... Hurry Up and Save Me by Tiffany Giardina.

What is it about vocaloids that you find so appealing?
I'm not sure, I just enjoy listening to them. The dances they have for their songs are hilarious too.

You're a gamer, what's your favorite game that you won't get tired of playing, ever?
That is still yet to be found.

If you could call yourself from 5 years ago, and had only thirty seconds to talk, what would you say?
Psst, hey! No matter what, don't listen to Karen and watch Kiss x sis.

Kyratian

Picture of you? =D

Wise Ork

I always ask for an IRL photo.

May 2013 003.png

LMAO! Sorry guys, but she sent me her favorite anime character - Yuno Gasai from the anime "Future Diary".

May 2013 004.jpg

Thank you so much for doing this interview, Kitty. I have never laughed so hard. I really enjoyed your free spirited comments. In all honesty, and I am sure the others would agree, your presence is missed terribly in RuneScape and in Clan Quest. There is no one like our very own Quest Kitty.24- herz.png

VIPs of Runescape Part 1, Daemonheim!
By Wolfie
*******************************
May 2013 005.png

Dragonkin and Mahjarrat are not the only dangerous beings in Gielinor! Many Gods have General Class followers still active to this day. Some could destroy cities by themselves and others lead powerful organizations. Either way the following monsters and warriors are especially powerful and important in the Sixth Age as war seems certain.

Daemonheim Factions:

In Daemonheim there is a clear split between two groups. Those loyal to or serving Bilrach a Zamorakian Mahjarrat and those that oppose him.

Team Bilrach:
For starters Bilrach is loyal to Zamorak and there are 4 main groups of boss monsters Bilrach has "under his command".

May 2013 006.png

The First group is Miscellaneous:
Astea Frostweb - A female mage Bilrach tricked into helping him and then enslaved when she revolted against him.
Icy Bones - A random troll that wandered onto the frozen floors and even though he has no connection with Bilrach defends the land he has staked out as his own.
Luminescent icefiend - A stronger icefiend which apparently evolved inside Daemonheim.
Skeletal Horde - A large group of skeletons and the introduction of the Gorajo, a race of warriors from a neighboring dimension that fight against Bilrach.
Hobgoblin Geomancer - Pretty much the same as Icy Bones, a random above average member of his race that felt compelled to stake out territory in Daemonheim and defend it.
Unholy Cursebearer - Another mage that rebelled against Bilrach except for whatever reason this one died and was brought back to life and enslaved.
Rammernaut - Leader of the Rammernaut Guard, an exceptionally strong group in Daemonheim known for their use of giant mauls.
Lexicus Runewright - Astea Frostweb's lover and partner in her rebellion against Bilrach. Part of their punishment in addition to forced servitude is that they are forever separated on different floors.
Sagittare - An exceptionally powerful ranger/mage, also the first human follower that seems to willingly serve Bilrach.
Skeletal Trio - 3 warriors, one specializing in each side of the combat triangle that died as a result of the Gravecreeper's curse and were necromanced inside Daemonheim and forced into servitude exactly like the Unholy Cursebearer. Their names are Griss, Radgund, and Bellefleur.
Gravecreeper - A grave robber named Atlus Creeper who was cursed to be a zombie for his actions.
Necrolord - A very powerful necromancer and mage. Also the only mage that has ever made a wall of undead to prevent meleeing.
Blink - A crazed human test subject that moves very fast and uses portal magic.
Warped Gulega - A monster brought to serve Bilrach from the Gorajo's home world, however it turns out the monsters were not tamable and hurt Bilrach's progress as much as they helped guard the floors.
Dreadnaut - A warped Rammernaut with a significant power up. However the madness of the warped floors seem to make it as much a danger to his allies as his foes.

May 2013 007.png

The Second group is the Behemoths:
Gluttonous behemoth - One of the few monsters in Gielinor that eats to heal itself, the others being revenants. Guards the Frozen Floors.
Bulwark beast - One of the few monsters in Gielinor that has a protective shell you need to mine, the other being the TokTz-Ket-Dill. Guards the Abandoned Floors.
Stomp - Stomp is a giant like the Queen Black Dragon so the only thing you fight is the head and arms. The rest of its body is in another dimension so to kill it you simply need to turn the portal off which decapitates it... or it would be simple if it didn't drop rocks everywhere. Guards the Furnished Floors.
Runebound behemoth - It appears higher level behemoths have prayer abilities. Runebound can block 100% damage of the styles it prays and if it protects against all 3 styles at once it can use a lightning attack that can kill its opponents in one hit. Guards the Occult Floors.
Hope Devourer - Can suck the will to live out of just about any living creature. Also capable of draining prayer and healing itself like the Hobgoblin Geomancer. Guards the Warped Floors.

May 2013 008.png

The Third group is the Stalkers:
Plane-freezer Lakhrahnaz - Uses ice magic to freeze the area around it making its prey less mobile while it hovers and uses long range attacks. Guards the Frozen Floors.
Night-gazer Khighorahk - Can only be damaged in the light during its first form. The darker it is the higher its defense. This is the first monster in Daemonheim to have a second form. Also the large area exploding attacks it uses make it very risky to fight in close range unless you pay attention. Guards the Abandoned Floors.
Shadow-forger Ihlakhizan - Uses both shadows and light to attack, also acid. It still has the exploding attack from the second level stalker and is equally dangerous with it. Guards the Furnished Floors.
Flesh-spoiler Haasghenahk - A really disturbing monster that pops its own eyeball out to attack you. Also has a second form where its body explodes and you get attacked by its babies. Guards the Occult Floors.
World-gorger Shukarhazh - Similar to Runebound it has 3 altars and you must lower one if you want to deal any damage to it. Guards the Warped Floors.

May 2013 009.png

The Fourth group is the Demons:
To'Kash the Bloodchiller - Demon Guardian of the Frozen floors, uses Ice spells similar to the Zarosian ancient magicks.
Har'Lakk the Riftsplitter - Demon Guardian of the Furnished floors, uses portal magic.
Bal'lak the Pummeller - Demon Guardian of the Abandoned floors, uses gradually increasing defense boosts to become untouchable and uses the acid around him to damage others.
Yk'Lagor the Thunderous - Demon Guardian of the Occult floors, uses magic and melee but also has two special attacks where he uses telekinesis to pull his enemies in next to him and stun them while he heals, and also can cause an earthquake.
Kal'Ger the Warmonger - Demon Guardian of the Warped floors, has mastered just about every tier 11 weapon and can drain turmoil, disable prayers after extended use, has a rage attack, and upon his death uses Wrath/Retribution.

All of these monsters were summoned or gathered and are relatively loyal to Bilrach or enslaved by him and guard the various levels of Daemonheim. It is unlikely they will ever participate in a fight outside of Daemonheim considering their master is dead, however because of how valuable Daemonheim is it is highly likely the fight will come to them.

Team Not-Bilrach:

Bilrach made many enemies in his haste to excavate Daemonheim. These enemies dwell inside Daemonheim and consist of two main groups; Bilrach's slaves, and the Gorajo.

May 2013 010.png

Astea Frostweb and Lexicus Runewright - Unlike the other bosses of Daemonheim they are still alive, and not mindless beasts, and actively rebelled against Bilrach. As a result they were enslaved as lower level bosses. If it is possible to break their curse they are perhaps the only Floor Guardians in Daemonheim that would aid us and give us useful information in our fight against Bilrach.

May 2013 011.png

The Gorajo - Are the other faction present in Daemonheim that stands against Bilrach. As a result his progress was greatly slowed when digging out Daemonheim but he still made it to the bottom eventually. They have strong healing powers and are skilled warriors. The Warped Gulega comes from their home world. They are friendly towards all who oppose Bilrach and in exchange for solving their riddles even open doors for us, or help us loot Bilrach's sinkholes, or heal us at the Skeletal Horde boss. They have paid a heavy price for their fight against Bilrach as most of them died fighting against him and their homeworld became Bilrach's dumping ground for the toxic waste he unearthed as he carved out Daemonheim.

Wildcards:

May 2013 012.png

Ramokee Skinweaver - She is the only Gorajo not inside Daemonheim or a Sinkhole. She created the Polypore Dungeon herself and gave life to the fungal creatures within. If she were to find out about the damage done to her homeworld she would likely be greatly angered and certainly not be in support of Bilrach or Zamorak the God her homeworld was nearly destroyed in the name of. Her creatures use highly toxic poison in close range and are all but immune to range attacks so the only way to even begin to damage them is with magic. While this isn't a problem for Mahjarrat whose life force is based on magic their followers on the other hand would have a very hard time coping with an army of fungal monsters.

May 2013 013.png

Smuggler - There are currently 8 Guthixian Guardians. (Cres died but then we became one so the count went back up to 8 again unless Fiara died in The World Wakes in which case there are 7) Either way 3 Guardians remain unknown and these guardians have immense power, some are even stronger than gods and are placed by Guthix to guard important areas. Given that Daemonheim (the ruins above it) were likely built by the Dragonkin (Statues of them on the ground floor, Stone of Jas Icon, Ring of KIN-ship, ect) and whatever is at the bottom of Daemonheim was strong enough to kill a Mahjarrat and even could have killed Thok it is safe to assume Guthix would not want it meddled with. Also the Miscellaneous Journals: Portal Notes, Scrap of Parchment, Letter to Acolyte, the Strange Token, and the M. and Thok letters prove the Smuggler is very closely tied to Guthix and also very strong to resist falling into madness on floor 61.

Moia - For information on Moia see the Mahjarrat section.

May 2013 014.jpg

Marmaros and Thok - These two members of the Fremennik Dungeoneering group are the only two normal humans to make it to Floor 61 of Daemonheim. Marmaros named most of the things inside Daemonheim and solved the puzzles while Thok killed everything in his path. These two are very impressive very powerful warriors and to have them on your side would be a huge benefit in any battle.

May 2013 015.png

Skaldrun - Is an immortal story teller. He is the only person besides Moia and the Smuggler alive that knows what is at the bottom of Daemonheim on floor 61. He has the ability to allow us to relive memories based on relics we find while dungeoneering. He is incredibly similar to Perjour a scholar for Zaros at the end of the Second age who then served Zamorak in the Third age. Perjour is believed to be dead because of a journal found with a skeleton accounting of his last days, however he deceived Zaros with a fake journal as well and his name literally means "To give false testament" so the possibility exists he could have used the same trick twice.

I hope you enjoyed my guide on the plot and happenings of RuneScape. the content was gathered largely from the Lores and histories section of the main site, in game quests, and runescapewiki. Expect Part 2 next month!

Barbecued Cabbage
May 2013 016.jpg

Tired of coleslaw? Here's a way of grilling cabbage that raises this pedestrian veggie to new heights. The leaves melt with the butter and spices, and the barbecue sauce gives it a nice kick. Next time you're cooking some ribs, plop one of these over Indirect heat and let it go.

For the seasoning mix:
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Other ingredients:
1 medium whole green cabbage, about 2 pounds
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup barbecue sauce

To make the seasoning mix: In a small bowl combine the seasoning mix ingredients.

Using a sharp paring knife, remove the core of the cabbage, leaving a cavity about 3 inches deep. Gently pry the cabbage leaves open with your fingertips. Spread the butter in the cavity and between the leaves, and season inside and out with the seasoning mix. Wrap the cabbage in heavy-duty aluminum foil so that all but the cavity end is covered.

Grill the cabbage, cavity end facing up, over Indirect Medium heat until the leaves are tender, 2 to 2 1/2 hours, basting occasionally with the barbecue sauce to prevent the exposed leaves from drying out. Set aside until cool enough to handle. Remove the foil. Cut into wedges and serve warm.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.

"So there you go, now you have a practical and seems to me, delicious way to deal with the next cabbage bombing!"

A Passive Vex War
by Cireon
**************
RuneScape Vex 016.png

Edgeville, W66 - The citizens of Edgeville have been complaining about a new phenomenon going on in and around the Grand Exchange. A lot of adventures use the lodestone in Edgeville to quickly reach the Grand Exchange and the amount of traffic this gives makes it very attractive to promote your clan along this route.
“At every point of the day there are no less than two vexillums standing in Edgeville”, according to one of the locals. The Questaholic reporters decided to dive into this case. After some research we were able to reduce the problem to two clans that are both using World 66 as their homeworld. According to witnesses, the clans are on friendly terms with each other, but both clans are competing in recruiting the most members from the world. One of the members of Clan Quest tells us about this ‘passive vex war’: “It is just for good fun.”

The locals however do not agree with this and sources are telling us that the citizens are planning to fight back. The local general store manager: “People are staying away from our little village because of the vex war going on here. With the Grand Exchange nextdoors it is already hard enough to keep a general store running, but now it is almost impossible to keep my shop running.”
The Gielinor Nature Preservation Foundation (GNPF) is also planning on taking actions against these clans: “These clans have no respect for their surroundings. They just plant their vexillum and forget about it!”
We were unable to reach the clans for an official statement about this case, but according to a regular World 66 adventurer “planting vexillums is part of the community and adds a sense of community to the world”.

We have two poems, one about The Elder Weapons, and one about Saving the RuneScape World.

The Song of the Weapons
by Infinity

How they whisper their greatest strengths, their desire to be used
For the wielders' desires to be made reality
How often they pass through the hands of many fools
Countless ‘Gods’ that dared to use the weapons for their own goals
How little did they know
The song of the weapons will be sung
Their time to re-make the very reality itself will come
By the desire that came from within many individuals’ souls
The weapons shall sing the song of their creators
The power beckons
Nothing shall escape the power
The power of the Elder Weapons
Not even time and space can escape their might
Realities shall be remade and broken once more
Witness the destruction of countless worlds
Fear the empires of countless wielders
Fear the Elder Weapons
They beckon to be used
Used for what, I hear you ask
Everything and Nothing
That is the truly purpose of the weapons.
Be afraid of the power
Be in awe of the power

They shall sing on,
forever and ever
until the end.

Be a Hero
by Wise Ork
Finally the time has arrived
to which every quester has strived
The fate of the world depends on you
and only with help will you make it through:
the fights to come, god wars 2
the allies to save, but enemies too
For who can you trust when the gods have returned
and by the Dragonkin the whole world has burned?
Gather your axe, bow and sword
and fight the evil that was too long ignored
Be a hero, and save the day:
you're a Clan Quester, what more can I say? 15- icon wink.gif
